SYMBIOS is a unique green roof company in Sonoma County, California, dedicated to developing artesian type designs coupled with optimal performance based green roofs and facades. As a design + build company, we offer full services from pre-design consultation to value engineering to installation. As architectural design professionals and experienced builders for over 18 years - we understand construction as well as building design. We are also accredited Green Roof Professionals - GRP.
Consultations -
If you are considering a living roof or wall, we offer consultation sessions to help advise, select & integrate the most appropriate system. There are many complex, interactive factors to balance out in every green roof design. We highly encourage our involvement in the beginning stages of the planning process for producing optimal performance and successful implementation during construction.

Design and Plans -
We offer a full range of design services. Planting plans, drainage plans, construction detailing, product specification, flashing fabrication drawings, landscape design drawings, irrigation plans etc.. We employ state-of-the-art computer modeling systems (BIM) as well as using various art mediums and 3-D modeling for representation.
Typical design process includes:

Engineering -
Depending on the complexity of the project, we work with a talented team of engineers and other professional associates that include:

Installations -
As a design + build company, we can make the follow-through from design to installation a smooth ride. As licensed and insured contractors, we are experienced at incorporating all of the necessary construction elements from start to finish. Depending on your roof system selected, we have established relationships with qualified plant growers to provide quality plants right on schedule.
Warranty -
On projects, which we design and build, we offer a 6-month COST-FREE maintenance program. We will replace plants that fail to establish themselves as well as adjust and calibrate the irrigation system during this critical establishment period. Call for details.
Maintenance Programs -
We offer extended ‘Life-care’ maintenance programs of 1, 2, and 5 years. Our service is specific for living roofs and their unique conditions and is design to insure the success and proliferation of the roofscape over time.
