Floressence House

This vegetative roof is literally an outdoor "living room". A spacious 4,658 square foot rooftop flower garden.  The roofscape can be fully experienced  much like a ground-based landscape.  Access is from the second story balcony or from an exterior staircase connected to the ground level.

The amenities range from a Ipe wood deck for sun bathing, lounging or star gazing sitting around an outdoor fire table. Concrete stepping pavers provide the main circulation paths while natural slate pavers provide a means to stroll into the floral dense landscape zones.

The property owner envisioned a roof garden environment filled with an abundance of flowering plants and both the pollinators and SYMBIOS were more than happy to fulfill her dream.
