Floressence House

This vegetative roof is literally an outdoor "living room", a spacious 4,658 square foot rooftop flower garden.  The roofscape can be fully experienced  much like a ground-based landscape.  Access is from the second story balcony or from an exterior staircase connected to the ground level.

The amenities range from an Ipe wood deck for sunbathing, lounging or star gazing while sitting around an outdoor fire table. Concrete stepping pavers provide the main circulation paths while natural slate pavers provide a means to stroll into the floral dense landscape zones.

The property owner envisioned a roof garden environment filled with an abundance of flowering plants and both the pollinators and SYMBIOS were more than happy to fulfill her dream.
