La Haye Studio

An old tar & gravel roof was transform into wondrous fresh-air garden roof escape.

Sliding doors from the live-work studio open up directly to a grassy roof meadow, outdoor cooking area, sunken patio court and deep planting beds with fruit trees.

Occasional friends gather for nighttime movies projected onto the blank concrete wall of the adjacent theater.

Rainwater is harvested form the metal roofs and is stored in tanks below the artist workshop-gallery space.
